The Harvey Specter zazz – and some iconic quotes to live by
I kind of sometimes most likely don’t conform ?. Suits was, up until a point, just another example marble in my unconventional chain. Everyone was buzzing about Harvey Specter. Facebook was beginning its Suits flood. Even my husband had taken it up.
I was adamant to start watching when pigs flew – and, whaddayaknow – one binging weekend – they did! And had funny little pinky wings and glued me to the laptop ?. And then, obsessively characteristic to me, I started intense research into – USA Network, the plot, the characters, the playlist. And, hell ya, the quotes! Endless examples, but I just gotta put it in writing: these are my favourite ones! Cause they-oh-so-apply to real life ?
1. “Unless you’re willing to make me breakfast tomorrow, I think we’re done”
Take that break up line, moron! ?
2. “Don’t play the odds, play the man”
In it to win it, hombres!
3. “It’s not bragging if it’s true”
Walk the walk, talk the talk. Period.
4. “Sorry, I can’t hear you over the sound of how awesome I am”
Nay-sayers will always want to try to bring you down. Just make sure awesome is the bitter taste you serve them.
Aaaand… saved the best for last:
5. “You know who always cries at the end of the Miss America pageant? The winner. Because she knows she’ll never win again and winners always want to”.
One of the best TV series in modern-day TV. The Greenback Boogie – still one of my ringtones of choice. Gabriel Macht – a producer I’d love to see doing another piece of great TV.
On behalf of the billions watching worldwide, thank you for the thrill! #ForeverASuitor
